Karl Rove gets it right on 9-11

In the immediate aftermath of 9-11, the MSM/DNC leapt into action. They declared war - - on our soldiers, on George Bush, on American efforts to defend itself, etc.

Howard Dean gave credence (although less than an explicit endorsement) of the theory that George Bush knew in advance of the 9-11 attacks. The Democratic party lent the remainder of its dwindling credibility to Michael Moore's silly movie. John Kerry, while offering no solutions, described our efforts as the "wrong war, in the wrong place at the wrong time."

The MSM/DNC war on America reached a hysterical crescendo with Turban Durbin's attack on American soldiers last week. The rest of the Democratic leadership could not bring themselves to repudiate Durbin, Dean or even Michael Moore. But now, they are offended that Karl Rove has pointed out the MSM/DNC strategy of dividing this country and hampering our defenses.

I propose a compromise. [Maybe we can enlist John McCain to help]. We will repudiate Karl Rove's statements if the MSM/DNC will repudiate everything that it has said since 9-11. [And for good measure it will have to repudiate everything it did to show weakness in the face of terrorism since the first bombing of the WTC in 1993]. Maybe if they issue a real apology like the ones proposed at Scrappleface or Cheatseeking Missiles, Karl Rove would not have to point out the obvious.

update - Michelle Malkin presents a good summary.

update II
Someone should remind the MSM/DNC of the article that Hillary ghostwrote for Chelsea in the days after 9-11, where "Chelsea" tried to blame the attack on the Bush tax cuts (or some similarly forgettable and reprehensible spin). I don't have a link or remember where it was published.
"Hello, Kettle? This is Hillary Clinton calling. You're black!"
